Field Organizers – Central Texas

The key responsibility for Central Texas Field Organizers is conducting membership recruitment, fundraising and letter-writing drives within the community, primarily through COVID-safe door-to-door canvassing. When Organizers are able to demonstrate proficiency in their core responsibilities, they will have opportunities to spend work time taking on other tasks, which could include research, preparing for direct actions, lobby days, digital organizing, and assisting in activist and donor development. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. (schedule may occasionally vary based on campaigns).

Requirements
Some related non-profit, political, or volunteer experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation
Annual salary $31,200/year, with opportunities for fundraising bonuses.

Field Community Organizers – Corpus Christi

The key responsibility for Corpus Christi Field Community Organizers is carrying out our grassroots organizing efforts to expand our regional coalition, develop new leadership, and build an even wider base of resistance to the petrochemical build-out and related infrastructure in the Texas Coastal Bend. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. (schedule may occasionally vary based on campaigns).

Compensation
Annual salary $31,200/year.

Lead Organizers – Central Texas, Houston, Brazoria County

The Lead Organizer is responsible for assisting in the management of advocacy and community organizing campaigns in the specific geographic areas. Job activities will include supporting campaign management, government relations, community engagement, coalition building, fundraising, developing external communications, and canvass staff development.

Requirements
1+ year experience in field or phone organizing, or non-profit volunteer work.

Compensation
Annual salary range $35,000-$45,000, commensurate with experience.

Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting and coordinating organizational fundraising activities to maintain and expand our donor base and inspire people to get more involved. Specific job responsibilities will include donor research and cultivation, fundraising drives, materials development, event management, and supporting grant applications and reports. This position will be based in Central Texas.

Requirements
1+ year of relevant experience in donor development and non-profit fundraising. Preferred experience in environmental and/or social justice work.

Compensation
Annual salary range $35,000-$45,000, commensurate with experience.

Digital Director

The Digital Director is responsible for managing our digital program and coordinating online engagement activities to amplify our narrative, broaden our base, inspire people to get more involved, and participate in grassroots fundraising. Specific job responsibilities will include digital campaign management, developing external communications, designing models for volunteer engagements, and supporting canvass staff development. These responsibilities can be met from any major city in Texas.

Requirements
5+ years experience in digital organizing and/or program management.

Compensation
Annual salary range $56,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience.
